Drift out of Positano just as the sun begins to sink, with the town turning golden behind you and the silhouettes of Capri and the Li Galli Islands ahead. As the sky melts from pink to indigo, you skim along the coast to Nerano and step ashore at a chic beachside restaurant where tables practically touch the water. Dinner is all about elegant coastal dishes – ultra-fresh seafood, handmade pastas and, of course, a frosty, lemon-bright Scorpino cocktail. The return journey is pure magic: the coastline twinkling with lights and Positano appearing ahead like a constellation on the cliff.

You start the evening down on Spiaggia Grande in Positano, stepping aboard your private boat as the sun begins to drop towards the horizon. With Positano’s pastel houses glowing in the early evening light, your captain points the bow out across the bay, cruising towards the silhouettes of Capri and the Li Galli Islands.

As you glide over the water, the coastline softens into shades of gold and pink. You pass by the tiny Li Galli archipelago – wrapped in legends of sirens and sailors – and watch Capri slowly shift colour in the distance as the light changes. There’s time to relax on deck, feel the breeze, and take photos as the sky deepens around you.

Soon, you turn towards Nerano and arrive at Conca del Sogno, a famous beach club and restaurant set right on the water’s edge. You step ashore for dinner literally by the sea – tables on the terrace, waves just below, and boats bobbing in the small bay. The menu focuses on elegant, coastal cuisine: ultra-fresh seafood, handmade pastas, and simple dishes that showcase the best of the Sorrento Peninsula.
